Question:   How long will my application be on file?
Answer:   Both internal and external profiles/resumes will be stored in the database forever. If your profile has not been updated or activated in 12 months, it will be archived. Every time your profile is updated or activated, it will remain in the database for an additional 12 months.
     
Question:   How will I be notified of the status of my application/profile once I have applied for an open position?
Answer:   All initial notification to internal and external candidates will be via e-mail. If you do not have an e-mail address, please create a free account. Free accounts are available at a variety of sites, including hotmail.com, yahoo.com or gmail.com.
     
Question:   Where do I apply for a job at ADESA, IAAI, AFC, AutoVIN or PAR North America?
Answer:   Open positions for all business units within KAR Auction Services will be listed on the careers section at karauctionservices.com. You can apply from any computer that has Internet access. Some auction locations have a computer available onsite for use by prospective employees. Local libraries, universities and workforce centers also offer free access to computers. Please contact the local auction for computer availability. Employment opportunities at ADESA Canada can be found at ADESA.ca.
     
Question:   How do I apply for an open position?
Answer:   If you are interested in applying for an open position, click the job title, review the job description and then click "Build Your Profile." All fields in red are required. The best way to evaluate qualifications and experience is with a detailed resume. If you do not have a resume, we suggest using "Resume Builder" to build a resume.
